I'm looking for a new motor for my 2000 Chevy Silverado p/u. I was wondering if I can upgrade the motor(ie more HP!) without to much hassle with the computer and such. TIA [Confused]

That engine will probably take to simular mods as a LS1 engine,but any great hp mod will probably require some ECM reprogramming.

Thanks! My motor already uses 2 qts every 3000mi.(75k) I want to put something in with a little more power not just the stock 5.3L, but not if its is a big hassle. [Big Grin]
