Got home today and on the front porch was a box with the Hurst shifter knob.
At Bowling Green talking with HarryP and he confirmed what I thought/the wrong shift knob was on the 35TH. Now instead of the plain black ball I have the leather one that was supposed to be on "THANK YOU HARRY" . . . . . .
For the short story.....After BG I called GM customer service to inquire if it was possable to get one. I have had the SS for 1 1/2 years allready.I didn't expect too get one BUT GM called Mark Carrol (sp) at "CLASSIC CHEVY" in Mentor Ohio (around Cleveland) and I now have the knob in hand .
It is not often that a Dealer will go out of his way to make a customer happy even the ones that are 3 hours away (me). I want to say "Thank You" to Mark at "The Classic Group" for ALL of his help.
