I just received my new issue of Chevy High Performance. On page 20 there's a blurb about this year's Bowling Green event. They list about 1/2 dozen Camaro and F-Body clubs that attended, but no mention of the SSOA. Geez, we even got there a day early to start the festivities. Just doesn't seem right.

The SSOA and friends accounted for almost 1/3 of the registered attendees.

I guess they forgot that the SSOA and Fbodygathering.com were co-hosts of the event. If the two groups hadn't planned it, the event would have been hurtin' for certain.
Worldwide Camaro Club didn't even give any mention of the event, and they were there. You think they could have at least put a blurb into Camaro World a few months before the event. When we called them the week of the event and asked if they were going to be there, we were told "no"......then their truck showed up the next day. Go figure.
Oh well.
That's the way the ball bounces.

That's a great idea. Maybe if enough of us write in, they'll take notice that we're alive and kicking.
If nothing else, they should understand we're an international club (even from NY. Sorry Kevin, I just had to do that ) that are some of the best Camaro (and Chevy) enthusiasts around.
