I saw that yesterday - I'm still trying to figure out how someone without any rights under the US Constitution can file a lawsuit.

Ask the people on the far left. They'll tell you.

I agree....I didn't read the whole thing, but if you're illegally working int he U.S. and not citizen, you have no right to sue...in fact, you dont have many rights (if any). They should be glad they got what they did, and now they are caught. What's next?? Walmart to sue the illegal workers it highered??

Now would probably be a good time to START thinking of a COHERENT IMMIGRATION POLICY,something that is long overdue.
Act now before you become as retarted as the Canadian system that pays WELFARE,lodges, defends and find jobs for[sometimes causing A CND citizen to lose his job]the refugee seekers, and cant even keep track of where they are.
And if ever the claim is refused they appeal[at taxpayer expense] and go into hiding if they lose.
GREAT SYSTEM,,,,,,,
Act before this happens to you!!!!!!

Believe it or not, there are already imigration laws on the books, that if enforced, would solve a lot of our problems. The real problem is that too many polititions are afraid to attack the 'Mexico' issues because they don't want to lose the hispanic votes. Its a terrible example of politics as usual and both parties are guilty of it.

I say the government should stop pandering to special interest groups and political correctness and protect America and her citizens against the financial problems ILLEGAL IMIGRANTS cause not to mention the security risks involved. Seal the borders using the National Guard. Immigrants are what made this country but they need to follow the rules. If people want to come here, they can come here LEGALLY. If we catch them here illegally they need to be deported - and that goes for anyone from any country.

Far be it from me to deny anyone anything legal under the law, but on the surface, it seems they can't sue Wal-mart, because Wal-Mart paid a contractor to do the jobs, and in turn, the contractor hired the illegals. So if anyone would be getting the lawsuit, it should be just the contractor, not both. It's just that Wal-mart has deep pockets, that's the only reason they're involved, I'm betting. I'm not defending Wal-mart, because if they did cover up the use of illegals, then they should get slapped, too.

My biggest beef with immigration is allowing pregnant illegals to enter the country, have a baby, then file for U.S. subsidies under the baby's name, since it is now a U.S.-born citizen, then run back to their home country. I think that if you enter the country illegally, nothing you do can be considered legal, therefore birthrights revert back to the mother's legal country of residence. Legally, they were never here in the first place. Does that mean they can't receive emergent medical attention? I wouldn't deny them that, but I would deny them a state driver's license, unlike that moron outgoing-Governor in California. I encourage anyone who wants to come to the U.S. to live and/or work to do so, as long as they go through the legal red-tape.

Either way, you got two sides to this mirror. On one hand, you can say Wal-mart is a corporate bully, etc., but on the other, more positive note, you can see how this might hurt their image just enough to drop stock prices like a rock, temporarily anyway, and use it as a chance to add Wal-mart to your stock portfolio at a cheaper price. I kept thinking the same thing about Ford, during the infamous "tire blowout sale". Stocks got down to less than 7 bucks/share, but somehow I didn't buy. Now it's made back nearly double within a year!! A nearly 100% annual return is a good deal in my book!
