Thanks to all of you and others I beleive I have my package defined.

Here goes:

Heads
5.3l Stage II PP heads with 2.02/1.57 5 angle valve job. Dual Crane springs, titanium retainers. Should be right around 10.8:1 CR. I'll keep the stock rocker arms (teeter totters) for now.

Cam
224/224 .581 112 LSA Comp Cam. (just like Farmers except for the smaller LSA) I can go bigger, but this cam seems like a real performer. Larger cams may make 5-10hp more up top, but sacrifice too much down low to get it.

Don Goets SFCs

ORPs and proabably underdrive pulleys.

4.10 GM gears. I can't decide to go 3.73 or 4.10. With over 400rwhp eventually I'll need a stronger rear end so I'll go with the 4.10s for now and I can decide if I want 3.73s when I step up to Moser or Strange.

Tuning will be via Preditor.

The goal is to make 425rwhp. The existing suspension is the Bilstein Ultra with an SLP STB. The SFCs should keep me pointing in the right direction, but I will look at additional suspension mods later. I'm also running the SLP LT headers and the 345hp SLP OE airlid.

Well, that should do it for now. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Looks like you have a good setup picked out there.. I would do some research into a rearend as well just in case. I did all the stuff in my sig and now my rear (with 3.42's) is now not working. It worked for most of the summer on street tires. I took it to the track on street tires and my Torsen lets go only allowing 1 tire to spin.. I put Nitto's on to see if I could break something [Big Grin] but alas my Torsen posi wouldn't allow it.. Damn one wheel peeling... [Razz]

I also have tuning done by the Predator. It took a few custom tunes to get close but after I put in my wideband o2 we should be able to get it right on.. Where are you getting your Predator from?? You have to watch because some vendors charge for custom tuning. Other ones do it for free as a part of good customer service.

Running with the devil has been highly recommnded. LS1speed will throw the Preditor in to the package and include custom tunes.

It'll probably be a month or more until I have all the cash so I'll wait until then to figure out who I go with. Right now LS1speed has my favor. They've got lots of happy customers, they're great to work with and their prices are hard to beat. If they can package the whole setup I'll just do it that way. May spend a few more bucks on the preditor or something, but overall the prices look pretty darn good. I'm not going to break it up to save a nickel or dime here or there.

I strongly recommend that you add some LCAs and relocation brackets. Your set up sounds great but with that kind of power - bouncing rear wheels on take off is going to get annoying very quickly! [Big Grin]

Sounds good sheets. 4.10's do sound good. But with that kind of hp, 4.10's will definetly not help with the traction [Eek!] . Thats why I thinkng 3.73's for me. But like you said, a new rear is in your future anyways.

Who's doing your work? Why not dynotune with LS1edit? Good luck and post a ton of pics.

Next addition will be to add a gmmg exhaust to your cme. I did and that now completed the package. Must be my favorite mod. The sound is...well, you will just have to find out.

On that note, going out to start it up and here the sweet music.

Ohhh, almost forgot. You will love the sound of the 112lsa. I went 114 to keep the idle near stock. The wife drives as well, and a rough idle wouldn't go to well. But the 112 will idle nice and rough and with a gmmg, WOW!! [Eek!]

Isn't is nice we have cars with the ls series motors that just by adding a cam and heads, you cam make nearly 500hp at the flywheel N/A. And the best is we still keep drivability, ac, cruise, gas mileage, and the best part, all on pump gas.

Folks, the new generation of hp has arrived and were a part of it [Big Grin]
