Dan ............ she also had a big pair of Hurst Airhart disc brakes in the rear ............ but believe it or not, that little chute could rattle your teeth when it deployed at almost 170 mph
Wayne ............. actually the car was very easy to drive, would sit back on the wheelie bars, stay straight as an arrow until the front end came down right about the 330 ft lights (when we shifted the Clutchflite into high) ............... the problem was to hold the wheel steady so the front wheels were straight when she settled back down .................. the ability of that little (88" wheelbase) car to stay straight and planted is totally the result of superior chassis design and engineering by the man who originally built her ...... Roy Rastetter
