Real short week for all. This year the rest will be very welcome. Although with our holiday schedule I doubt if I'll get much rest!
Have a great day friends.

Good morning all ................. here we go again
The picture of the day ............ if any of you have been up close to nitro powered cars, you know that sometimes they're not as pretty as they seem from a distance ........... nitro fumes chew up paint quickly and the mechanicals of "going fast" aren't always beautiful ..........
But tell that to John Keeling and Jerry Clayton ........... the owners and builders of the long line of "California Charger" fuel dragsters and funny cars .............. their vehicles always looked immaculate ......... so immaculate in fact that it prompted this comment from (at the time) NHRA chief starter Buster Couch ............ "This is a drag race guys, not a car show" ............. a perfect example is shown below ............ look at the beauty of this rig ............ in between rounds at OCIR

We got our family visit and dinner out of the way yesterday (that's when everyone was in one place on one day), so Christmas day will be spent with friends.

Hellish day here at the bank. At one point my drawer had $85,000 in it!! ONe person called off, and another went home sick. It's not fair that us people that never get sick have to put up with this crap!
Sorry for the rant.
