Interesting. My biggest gripe with GM, although I'm a GM supporter, is their seemingly lack of concern when a customer has an issue.
Basic business sense tells you that you are in business to attract and keep the customer. No other reason. It's way too simple. Yet too many companies, including GM, have this idea muddled with some stupid misconception that pleasing shareholders and bottom lines are more important than anything else. Without the customer, the company dies and all that other crap means nothing. Plain and simple.
Maybe GM has finally pulled their collective head out of their rears and figured this out. It's going to take a little time, but I think the new ideas on leadership at GM are starting to take a little bit of shape.

This I have to agree with also but when I reported my problem to Chevrolet about my Tahoe I was told by them that dealerships are independent and there is nothing they can do. I don't agree with that philosophy but if it is true then Chevy or any other company in the GM lineup shouln't sell there stuff to these buffoons and make them go elsewhere. If I have to I will definately continue to seek out a dealership that "does care" about its customer.
I have been and will always be a Chevy "Nut" and look forward to up and coming new models.

Obviously enough people are happy enought o keep buying. That makes the others the minority! They sure aren't silent though as much as they should be sometimes. I get tired of hearing both extremes. That means endless praise is as tiring as endless whining.
I love all 4 of my GM vehicles and my dealer takes good care of me. That's why I don't talk about it all the time. I just keep buying.

It's nice to see GM on top, but with numbers ALL sooo close together...to me, it's meaningless.
TO me, sure my parents own chevy's and grandparents Cadillacs. So sure there is persuasion to lean towards GM. I however, will find a vehicle that suits my needs, no matter what brand it is. I have been looking at the Dodge SRT-4 for a while. THe Saturn Reline looks cool as well. Both in future price ranges. If I'm loking for a different car in a different price range then so be it.
NO matter what WE ALL have opinions on this subject matter. We're not ALL gonna agree, it's how you repsond to other's comments I guess that you dont agree on that can get ya in trouble. I twill be interesting how GM runs it's business int eh upcoming years.
Did I mention I'm a big supporter of alternative fuel vehicles?? I'd like to see more headway in this department as well, just not in GM. (hell, Honda and Toyota are on there way...)
