That is an average speed of 78.72 miles per hour. And assuming that you spent some time below that speed, it would require you to also spend some time at a higher speed in order to create that average.

Do speed limits apply in Tejas??? Wasn't in the drivers' ed manual that I read..... [Wink] [Big Grin]

Amen fellas!!! Of course, the 75(+) mph speed limit on the Oklahoma Tollways helped. You can always fudge a little!! [Big Grin]

I still have to go check the garage, often, to re-confirm the car is actually mine and waiting for its next "run".

Any board members familiar with the Big Bend Open Road Race held every April?? The 2004 event is just around the corner. 59.5 miles each leg, from Ft. Stockton to Sanderson and back. Is the most challenging amatuer open road event in the U.S.
