This is on my Z28. They were turned at 8,800 miles and started getting bad again at 13,500 miles. GM's policy is to turn or replace up to 12,000 miles. I found time to take the car into the dealer before Christmas. The service manager gave approval to replace the parts. They were put on order before Christmas and had all of them replaced Friday. I didn't even have to talk to the service manager but rather one of the service workers did the talking. This one dealership is way above the average Chevy dealer. I drove 30 miles to buy my car at this Chevy dealer, bypassing at least 4 Chevy dealers within 5 miles of me. Next time you're looking for a Chevy in PA you might want to check out TOM OATES CHEVY in Chester Springs, PA. I've had nothing but good luck at this dealership.

Ditto on TOM OATES! That's where I took my SS for the M6 rebuild and upgraded some of the internal parts. I bought the SS from Roberts Automall in Downingtown (about an hour away)because the local Nucar dealer wanted about 1200 over the sticker price. But when it came time to do some technical repairs, I went to TOM OATES because they were recommended by Doug N. (Doug97SS), and they race Z-28's. Roberts may have done a good job, but I felt better taking it to a dealer that races and was recommended by someone here. They did a GREAT job on everything I asked them to do (I gave them a very detailed list with copies of technical articles). They would be my first stop when it's time to buy another car!
