Whats up with them pop up ads at the bottom... I just noticed them the other day... some are pretty funky... [Confused]

install the google tool bar. No more pop ups.

This oughta explain the Google toolbar:
http://toolbar.google.com/
It's handy to have to run searches without going to Google's site and works well at blocking the annoying pages that do pop-ups in a separate window.

But it won't do anything fore the funky "Ads by Google" at the bottom of the pages. My guess is J.R. is selling a small amount of space to help pay for his costs. Luckily it's at the bottom and easy to ignore.

it's not an ad blocker, just pop ups.

I was wondering the same thing with that banner at the bottom, a lil annoying but oh well.

I installed the google toolbar as well....works WONDERS!!!
