We finally got it home in the garage out of the 40 degree cold! (I'm rubbing it in to y'all folks north of the west bound lane of I-20!) ANYWAY, take a look at her! Go to the link and click on "Missi's SS". Click on my truck too if you want, but I figured the SS is what y'all would want to see (plus, the truck's not done...lol)
Thanks for all the advice you guys! I'll be posting often and already wanting to make reservations in Bowling Green!

The car looks good, "...performance package", ...and I see it's the blackwing airbox, ...345hp from SLP, ...and the truck is looking good too. ...is that a 1st gen I saw in lurking in the background of a couple photos?

Yes...I believe that's a '67, but he's since put that one aside and is working on a '69 for his wife...their 3rd Camaro is a 1995 Z28 Convertible. They're the ones that got us hooked on Camaros in the first place!

Great looking car! Again, congrats. Your SLP date looks like Feb 02, so yours should have came with the blackwing lid as suspected. Nice choice in color and wheels too. Not that I'm biased or anything! Now you will be bitten by the mod bug, and he bites pretty hard sometimes and won't let go. Keep everything bolt on and keep everything you take off if you ever want to go back to stock, but one thing I've learned about owning these 4th gens is that you can't HELP yourself but to personalize it in some way.
And word of advice...go to the Bowling Green this year. You'll be glad you did. SSOA day is a blast.

Thanks for the comments on the truck. That thing has taken almost two years to build. Missi has the SS, but that's MY baby
If the weather here would ever clear up, I'd take better pics of her car, but oh well...We're already starting plans to save up for Bowling Green! Are we going to caravan it up there, fellow Texans?

Okay...here's my first couple of questions...
1. Since it was used, the guy we bought it from said the previous owner didn't have the key fobs. How much are they and is there any particular type to get to make sure they're stock?

We're going to personalize it in things like the SS floormats, etc. But as far as mechanical things, the car's performance outdoes anything else I've ever driven, and that includes police cars! I'll have to smoke one of those DPS Crown Vic's one of these days!
We're already planning on Bowling Green...We're SO excited!

Well, I'd irritate them, but they're the ones that I rely on to help me with our SS. Of course, today isn't really a day to go outside and take the tops off.
That caravan is going to be SO cool! Are y'all planning on going up on Thursday or Friday?

I'm thinking we'll have to leave on Friday morning due to it being so early in the school year. We can still caravan home though! I'm looking forward to it all!
I drove through Kentucky back when I was about 8, so I don't remember much. It'll also be fun seeing an area of the U.S. that we regularly don't come to.

We don't know what the NCM schedule of events is yet. It appears the NCM added ThurSSday's date to their website to make the facility available for our SSpecial activitieSS before the main event on Fri & Sat. Nothing really happened on Sunday in the past, and the feedback from last year indicated people would like to get on the road sooner, so the weekend's activities will be compressed into a 2 day event with SSOA ThurSSday kicking it off the day before. (We made up the largest # of registrants in past years and tend to come into town early anyway.)
When we know more, or if this changes, we'll let everyone know.
