Need to tighten up the rear of the vert...the stock shocks are gone, & want to upgrade after the rim/tire change. What are the advantage/disadvantage's to the adjustable's...or any info on the normal type of shock like the Bilstein/Koni?
The SS is dropped (BMR springs) and am also planning on LCR brackets & arms....
Have already "rolled" the lips of the rear fenders, but don't want to take any chance's of the body biting into the rear tires.

I don't know how the Koni adjustables work with convertibles - SLP didn't offer the Koni upgrade for them and I believe it was due to the body not having the structural integrity it needs. I am sure someone else can confirm this.
I know many people who LOVE revalved Bilsteins. If you want to talk to a pro, give Sam Strano a call or check out http://www.stranoparts.com/index.php - they even have a message board on the site so you can ask questions.

I'm not too knowledgable on this topic (talk to JeffY, he's the expert), but I think from reading past posts, with the Koni adj shocks (i believe), they couldn't take the extra wieght in the rear becasue of the convertible. I'm sure others will have mroe input on this.

I don't think there is any reason you can't run the Koni adjustables on the rear.
I ran Koni SA's, 125# rear coils with Ground Control height adjusters on the rear and Ground control front coilovers with 400# springs up front and it was a different world handling wise ...but the ride suffered. Also allowed for fine tuning the ride height.
I've since reinstalled all the bilstein pieces except that I used the stock rear coils in instead of the ones in the bilstein package to level the car out.
I bought all the stuff from Sam Strano and would concur that he is the guy to talk to to figure out what will best suit your specific situation.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll check out "Stano" I don't mind spending good money for good parts, i just want to do it right the first time...
