Well I am putting a spin on the event.

From a simply fantastic tip from our own Michelle Flamingbird.

I am going to ask everyone bring something for the local animal shelter. And we will give it too www.warrenco.petfinder.com I have already spoken to two different women there. One from the Board of Directors and the other from the shelter. Since we have so many pet lovers I thought Michelle's idea was fantastic. I hope to have the information up soon.

Just an inside tip. Spread the word please to the other boards you visit. Thanks

Good idea! Here's their wish list of items needed:
Wish List
The following is a list of supplies that the dogs and cats at our shelter are in need of:
Kitten food such as"Kitten Chow"
Puppy food such as "Puppy Chow"
Small plastic litter pans
Litter scoops
Small/medium sized plastic food dishes for cats (deep and non-tippable)
Adjustable nylon cat and dog collars of all sizes and colors
"Nylabones" or similar chew bones of any size Washable Cat and Dog Toys
Soft bristled hand brush and dust pan sets
Hand soap pumps
Desanitizer lotion
Laundry Detergent
Liquid Fabric Softener
Dish Detergent
Paper Towels
Baking soda
Vinegar
Zip-top plastic bags - quart and gallon size
Latex gloves - size large
Large heavy duty scrub brushes
Nozzles for Hoses
Commercial-grade Garden Hoses (non-kink preferred)
Old Newspapers
Old Towels
Old Blankets
Disposable plastic beverage cups
Soft, washable pet beds (new or used)
If you have an old dog crate or pet carrier which you are no longer using, we would accept them as well. (Please keep them to use while you have your pet!)
Air Purifier Ozone Machine,room-sized
Puppy corrals and child gates
We are also in need of some larger items:
Digital Camera - A picture is worth a thousand words and will help our animals find homes quicker.
Cat Cages - We have a need for stainless steel cages in groupings of four per unit.
Weed Eater
Vacuum Cleaner and Bags - To help keep our shelter clean.
Deep Freezer
Hand Cart
Pressure Washer - To clean our kennels.
Lawn Mower
