Morning all, still raining here. Maybe these are the April showers already, I hope so. Other than the rain it was pretty nice yesterday, supposed to be the same today. Off to work I go, for this time next week I may be on strike. Have a great day everyone.

Good moring - it's a little foggy here, which should burn off in the next couple of hours.
The only excitement so far today is missing a phone from our son calling from somewhere on or near the Arabian Gulf. Eric is onboard LPD12(USS Shreveport), part of the Wasp/ESG2 group and they are either getting ready to- or have landed 2000 Marines for what is officially described as a 'discreet' mission in Afghanistan.
Update- Eric called back and we had a nice talk. Need to send him some snacks and global prepaid calling cards.
Started off our morning looking at a '67 Chevelle in Washington, then went down to the shop and watched Steve dyno a '68 Camaro race car (Trans Am class). Then he dynoed his own '68 with the new headers on it. It's still at 388 h.p., but with some LS1 edit tuning, it should gain a few more. A couple of people came over to look at the '69 for sale, but no takers yet. One said he'd call back. The other person said the car was too nice to use as a driver, but needed a paint job in his opinion, so it wasn't worth buying. The paint is actually in pretty good shape for being 10 years old. Go figure. The least he could have done was made an offer. Headed out to dinner with friends in a few minutes...hope everyone has a nice weekend.
