Took Camaro out a a cruise got gas, drove home and walked around to open garage what do i see? The rear valance over the CM exhaust hanging completely cracked off on left side! Luckily SLP performance parts still has part in stock but on back order due to high volume of customers ordering the CM exhaust system! Bad thing price is $138.00 but shipping is a whopping $50.00 due to UPS oversize! At least part is still available now to get it and have it painted and installed before summer crusing season! I talked to Matt at SLP very helpful and knowledgeable!

As far as I know, this should be covered under warranty, is it not? You shouldn't have to be forking out almost 200 bucks plus finishing and installation if it's due to workmanship issues. Provided it's an SLP upgrade option when it was ordered. Not sure of all the details, but you might want to ask the Chevy dealer....

I was thinking this too. If the tape came loose, then the panel dropped and got ripped because the tape didn't hold, then, depending on the option level, mileage (less than 36K), etc., you may have a case for warranty replacement. In other words, if the non-sticking tape could be traced to the root cause, you should have a solid claim. Didn't someone else have this problem where the sticky tape didn't stick and SLP came through via the Chevy dealer? Maybe that was another board...
