I am about to trade my wife's Catera in on a Impala LS. Does anyone have any experience with this car? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Get a SS! [Smile]

Anyway the 3800 V6 is a great motor if you go for the bigger engine. Had one in my Lumina, and ran like a champ.

They are great cars... they are also rated very high by JD Power for quality etc. I have heard nothing but good things about the Impalla.... plus the quality and problems should be a lot less then a Catera. I have not had the chance to drive one personally I usually drive trucks... I got to see the next Impalla today... looks cool. [Wink]

My Dad owns a 2002 LS with all the trimmings. It is a very nice car. The 3800 Series motor is a tested and long lasting motor.

Your wife should be quite pleased driving it.
