Does your car have to be "special" i.e. an anny or and LE to have a build #? Just wondering..I'd like to know my build number.

Every '96 and newer SS has a sequence number from SLP Engineering. You can get that # by calling SLP or by joining the SSOA.

If your car has otions installed by SLP, there should be a sticker on the inside of the pass. door if no sticker, it just means your car has no options from SLP, BUT THEY WILL STILL HAVE YOUR BUILD #, Just call them....
