Had an old Pepsi cooler like you find in the stores that finally fell apart. It held about 4 cases of beer/pop along with the ice.
If anybody knows where to get something like this I would appreciate it. As summer is just about here I would like to replace this.

he he... ED, I just bought an old pepsi pop machine at at the portland swap meet a few weeks ago for my garage... I think it will hold about 6 cases of beer (or more)... mine from best I can tell is of 60's vintage its about 4 feet tall and I paid $350 for it... check swap meets and junk stores. Also might not hurt to try the local pop dist. One of my dealers just had their old machine that took bottles die and the coke dist came out to pick it up. I'm going to go out to the coke dist. and see if they still have it. I might be able to repair it and possibly sell it... if it hasn't met its fate to the scrap pile.

The old ones are nice and I can get my hands on one if I wanted. What I was looking for are the ones in the Small party stores that they fill with ice and a beverage. They are nice and portable. Your idea of checking with a distributer is a great idea though Posts: 3091 | From: Canton Mi. | Registered: Oct 2002

Didn't want a metal one. The one I had was made out of a thick cardboard with an inner liner/tub to hold the cans/bottles....ect. When filled with ice it would keep everything cold for days. Nice and portable.

Contact your local bottler. They sell everything. They distribute them to every grocery store and Stop-N-Rob in every city. If you don't want to buy a new one from the distributor, check with a store. They just might have one in the back that isn't being used and destined for the dumpster.
