I'm looking for feedback. Are 3.73 gears too much for a daily driver 2002 A4? I'm thinking about getting them, but I'm afraid they might be too much for a daily driver. Does anyone have any comments on how well 3.73 gears work in an '02 A4, especially for daily driving? Thanks.

I just drove one about a week ago, one of our club members has them in his 01 A4 SS. He uses it as a daily driver and it wasn't bad at all! Much more power!!

3.73 gears should be fine. I would recommend them. It will make the car much quicker off the line. For about a month I had a set of the 4.10 gears in the 98 SLP car when it had the automatic, and they were too low. They are just perfect now with the 6spd though

Thanks, guys. I'm getting a set of the GM 3.73s installed on Monday. A local guy is offering a great deal on them, so I'm going to go for it. Posts: 44 | From: The Lone Star State | Registered: Dec 2002
