Author Topic: 3.73 GM gears for a 2002 A4? 35th SS Drop Top 1st Gear Member # 1767 posted                    I'm looking for feedback. Are 3.73 gears too much for a daily driver 2002 A4? I'm thinking about getting them, but I'm afraid they might be too much for a daily driver. Does anyone have any comments on how well 3.73 gears work in an '02 A4, especially for daily driving? He uses it as a daily driver and it wasn't bad at all! It will make the car much quicker off the line. For about a month I had a set of the 4.10 gears in the 98 SLP car when it had the automatic, and they were too low. I went from a 2.73 to 3.73 gear. It really woke the car up.
