I'm looking for feedback. Are 3.73 gears too much for a daily driver 2002 A4? I'm thinking about getting them, but I'm afraid they might be too much for a daily driver. Does anyone have any comments on how well 3.73 gears work in an '02 A4, especially for daily driving? Thanks.

I just drove one about a week ago, one of our club members has them in his 01 A4 SS. He uses it as a daily driver and it wasn't bad at all! Much more power!!

3.73 gears should be fine. I would recommend them. It will make the car much quicker off the line. For about a month I had a set of the 4.10 gears in the 98 SLP car when it had the automatic, and they were too low. They are just perfect now with the 6spd though [Smile]

Thanks, guys. I'm getting a set of the GM 3.73s installed on Monday. A local guy is offering a great deal on them, so I'm going to go for it. [Big Grin]

I have a set of Richmonds installed in my Z. I went from a 2.73 to 3.73 gear. It really woke the car up. You will love it. [Wink]
