Finally got some time to install the iRotors and ThermoQuiet pads, as well as install the Earl's stainless brake lines. Straightforward, however, one item to note on the stainless lines. While the 4 outer corners are ok, they provide a center rear hose that cannot be used with the dual-line anti-lock brake setup. So two original hoses had to be left in place. Oh well.

Still seasoning the rotors and burning off the zinc plating, but there is a noticable improvement already in stopping, and definitely no wobbling! At least for now, anyway.

Also found out something rather disturbing, on the right rear, the parking brake ring shoe was adjusted out where it was dragging all the time. Not much, but enough to definitely notice. They must've done this when they had to change the rear bearings under warranty a while back. Anyway, I adjusted the ring to just clear the drum, so now nothing drags.

Car SEEMS to stop a bit quicker, and with less pedal effort. But again, no hard stopping or anything yet. That'll come, though. [Big Grin]
