Here is my latest Restoration. This is my first pump that I've done. Didn't come out too bad. You should have seen what I started with. It has taken a little over a year to finish but I'm pretty happy with the results. Oh and yes this is going in the house!

Very nice work. Did you have to purchase any of the decals or other parts? Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Yeah I purchased everything for it... the only thing literally left from the origional pump is the tins and the frame. It was missing the glass, rubber, computer faces, globe, signs everything! I probably could have bought one for less finished but I had fun doing it, plus it was a test to see if I could do it, my next task is going to be restoring my 69 chevelle. You wouldn't believe how big the hobby is there are vendors out there that sell all kind of repo parts etc... its a huge hobby that I'm into now. I have another pump to do but its going to be a while. I went a little extreme on mine and used all new stainless bolts, powder coated the frame and had one of my stores with a body shop do the paint and bondo work... I joke I did my pump on the "payment" plan!
