The ABS INOP light on my Camaro came on today. The brakes seemed to work fine, but the light was on. When I drove the car later on, the light was not on. I have a feeling it has something to do with the car not being driven in a while(haven't driven it much with a 5 month old). Anybody have a simalar experience?

The only time mine did that was after a dyno run. The computer got messed up with the back wheels moving and the fronts not! After a few blocks it re-set and was fine.
Try a panic stop (in a safe place) and see if it works!

Believe it or not... a intermittent concern with the Opti-Spark can cause this ABS inop light to be on. I had that concern with my 30th Anniversary Z28 when I was having an intermittent Opti-Spark concern.

I never actually replaced the Opti-Spark. The problem just started right before I was selling the car. I just cleared out the codes by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. It was very intermittent and the car still started and ran well. The codes were for the ignition module and that caused the ABS Inop light to illuminate.
