How often should coolant/antifreeze be changed?
The manufacturers brag of 5 years.
Should the sytem be merely drained or professionally flushed?
I would appreciate opinions. Mine coolant has been going for 3 years and I'm thinking of flushing now, during the hot season.

The answers to your questions should be in the vehicles owners manual. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

If your orange dexcool doesn't look congealed, I wouldn't do a thing until the 100,000 miles is up. If your overflow tank looks like a solid mass, get the TSB and fix it.
