Or even non EMCC members who live in the Detroit area? I was supposed to drive down to Detroit today to pick up some used ZR1 rims from a fellow I met off Z28.com, but other things have stopped me from making the drive. I still want the rims and if anyone can accept delivery of them, I can send the money order to you. Otherwise I will loose the deal. Thanks.

I am starting to plan the grand slam auto getaway weekend. August 21st is Woodward Ave. Dream cruise and the following Sunday is a Detroit region SCCA solo2 at the Silverdome. I want to do both! . Any ideas on hotels would be welcome, preferably near the Silverdome as I would want to be there for Friday night and Saturday night. Is there anything I can bring over for you??

Hotels ........try the Marriot in I believe Auburn Hills (right by the Silverdome). Stayed there several years ago when the bro got married It was during the Woodward cruise also.

Thanks Ed. I just booked this place. I'let ya know on the rims thing. Seeing as I'm comming in next month he has agreed to hold the rims for me.

About an hour depends on the traffic though. You're out by where the wife works she drives that every day thank heaven for a company car.
