Looks like this weekend or next I will be traveling to S. Carolina to pick up a 76 Camaro . Nothing fancy but close to the 75 I had years ago. Just a few small details to iron out with the dealer but everything looks good so far. So wish me luck that when I get down to see it it isn't a peice of junk.
All I need to do now is to get my hands on a open trailer to get it with Posts: 3091 | From: Canton Mi. | Registered: Oct 2002

Can't wait to see it Ed. Matt69 has an open trailer (the same one he used to help me move) and you may want to get in touch with him to see if he will let you borrow it. I have to put my new wheels on my trailer tonight and fix the left rear electric brake that for some reason does not work otherwise you could possibly use my trailer. Do you have an electric brake control on the HD? My trailer empty weighs in around 3,000 lbs and will push the Suburban when the Camaro is in it if I was not careful. Now I installed an electric brake controller and that should take care of that concern. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Will have to check with Matt. Have a u-haul on hold for a 1 way but still not sure of the weekend.Looks like it will be next weekend at the earliest. Dont have the controlls for the breaks. Thanks for the offer but I wanted an open trailer so I can see around easier since I'll probably be going by myself.

I don't know of anyone else in EMCC that has an open trailer. The U-Haul you have reserved is for the way back to Michigan? That would be the best, since then you could drive a bit faster going down and get better fuel economy without pulling a trailer.

The only thing about the 1 way is that the cost is a little over $250 for the rental. Thats alot of gas money.
