Good afternoon, friends,

GM has just announced an additional $1,000 'Loyalty Cash' on the purchase
or lease of any new 2002 or 2003 GM car or truck. If you own or lease any
GM car or truck (proof of registration or title is all that is needed) you
are eligible for the extra $1,000.

A list of current incentives is located at:

http://www.gm.com/automotive/vehicle_shopping/overdrive/retail/index.html

Here's a press release with an overview:

GM REWARDS LOYAL OWNERS WITH $3,000 TOTAL CASH . . . GM has announced its
latest retail marketing program, which makes $3,000 total cash available to
current GM owners. Here's how it works: GM will reward its owners with
$1,000 loyalty cash toward the purchase or lease of any '02 or '03 model
vehicle (excluding HUMMER) through March 31, as well as offer customer cash
rebates of $2,000 on most Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac
2003 models. As an alternative to the $2,000 consumer cash on '03 models,
GM is offering 0.0 percent APR finance rates for qualified buyers on most
'03 passenger car and truck models. Keep in mind that the $1,000 loyalty
offer can also be combined with GM's current lease pull-ahead program, as
well as with the GM Card Program. The lease pull-ahead program runs through
March 31 for customers whose leases expire between April 1 and Aug. 31.
"This is an absolutely great time to purchase a GM vehicle," said John
Smith, group vice president of VSSM. "Our truck lineup is the best in the
industry and we are bringing out more new cars than at anytime in our
history. Our new marketing program rewards our loyal GM customers, and
provides flexibility and affordability for any consumer shopping for a new
GM vehicle."

NEW AD . . . GM has the highest industry loyalty ratings from R.L. Polk for
three years running, and a new GM ad announcing GM's $1,000 loyalty cash
offer thanks customers for that loyalty. "For making us the leading
manufacturer in owner loyalty for the third straight year, GM thanks you a
thousand times," the ad copy reads. National print advertising for the new
program kicked off March 1, with ads running in top markets around the
country.
