Thanks...

Nick, They are available, and if you want one (of 500) specially numbered/distributed by the SSOA, ...get in touch with Teri Heino. You might want to put a post on "The Back Porch", ...to see if anyone from CA attended BG and brought any back with them. Teri is from the Portland area, ...don't know how far north you are in CA. Anyway, Teri was looking into sending a large number of these to Dianna at www.AfterThoughtsAuto.com , ...so you might also check there in a few days. (Teris is probably still driving back from BG as we type...)

San Jose would be a good middle point for us to meet, if you are so inclined!
Do you ever make it down that way?

Yes.. matter of fact I do. NorCal *Norcal-LS1.com* club, which I am a member of, meets up weekly in Milpitas, right out of San Jose. We do this every Thurs and Im actually going out there tonight but will be getting there kinda late. I try to make it out to one Milpitas meet every month... cause up here in Sacramento we do our own Thurs meets locally.
Ill let you know the next time we have a BIG thurs Milpitas meet... or maybe I can plan a BIG SJ meet somewhere. Either way Ill let you know... would be nice to meet ya.

I just did a search on their web site and couldn't find them. Guess I better call! Posts: 322 | From: Fort Polk, LA | Registered: Feb 2002

They just received the die casts a day or two ago...remember, I shipped them out of Bowling Green on the Monday after the event. They took a week to get to Texas by ground freight.
Give them time to get a web page together and figure out what the final cost will be. I can tell you that the cost will be higher than $25 since they now have some shipping, handling and packaging costs to soak up.
As soon as they're available, it'll be posted on the board.

For those of you in Mike Furtaw's neck of the woods on the East Coast, he has a few cases, too.

Yup, they're out there from other dealers thanks to Welly releasing the rest of the run before our agreed date (after the B.G. event). I was in the middle of arranging exclusive distribution via the Chevy Mall when Welly released them to everyone else. That's why we had our special numbered decals made. To differentiate between the SSOA distributed cars and the rest of the run.
