Hello! I understand that everything is volunteer so it takes awhile, but my check that I sent in August has been cashed and I have yet to recieve my packet. I just wanted to let you know just in case it's lost or something. Please let me know when I might recieve it.

LofA's are at SLP now waiting for signature. Dave is at SEMA and will sign them as soon as he gets back to the office. When the LofA's return to me, they'll be assembled into the packets. You are an SSOA member already, so join in on the posts and get to know all of us. If nothing else, say HI in the good morning post each day and check in. That's usually where I post update info.

BTW, the checks DO NOT get deposited until the member packets are done and getting mailed out. That is why it has not been cashed yet! Teri is on top of things, and works her butt off in our spare time(doesnt leave much for our personal stuff!!!). She will get them out as possible. She is really good at getting these things done and out as soon as possible, and often puts our own stuff on hold to do so!!! Hang in there, your patience will be rewarded!

For this particular group, because so many people kept asking me why their check wasn't cashed, I went ahead and made a deposit last week. It was the same day I mailed the LofA's to SLP. I usually make the deposit when all new members cars have been verified, their LofA has been printed, and I know that they will be getting a packet in the current batch. It's usually when I'm w/in a week or two of mailing packets, so Steve is right in the sense that checks aren't cashed until I know that a person has a packet w/their name on it, and there aren't any issues with verification, etc.

But my check has been cashed, and it was more than a month ago that it was. It was on my bank statement that it had been cashed, that's why I was wondering why I haven't recieved anything yet. I'm not mad or anything, i just wanted to make sure that you have received my money and my packet has been sent.

If your check has been cashed, that means I have received verification from SLP on your SS. You'll be getting your packet as soon as the LofA's come back from SLP, signed.
I have 60 packets sitting in the middle of our living room ready to go. The LofA's will be to me soon.
