Being new to the internet I was very happy to see the tons of T/A enthusiasts out there! I was really happy to find this sight because there were some questions I have about my car that I`m sure someone can answer for me. #1 GOOD price to use for opening bid on 96 Comp T/A. MINT SHAPE!!!#2 Does every car come with logo floormats and embroidered headrests as standard equipment??? #3 Why is it that even Pontiac dealers don`t even know how to find and order parts & stuff for one of their best cars ever?? P.S. We should hold G.M. to their 7 or 10??? year parts policy !!!

No non of the Comps got the embroidered head rests, Mike A did his because it was cool I guess. I want to have mine done too.

The Floormats were an option.

Check out what some of the other Comps have sold for and base your price on them. Just be ready to sit on it for a while to get your asking price.

They are a specialty car and the banks won't give a loan for something that is not even listed in thier books. Somone has to know what the car is and have the $$$$ on hand to buy it.

The only things my dealership knew about them is that they can't get parts from SLP any better then we can. [Roll Eyes] And the dealership here actually sold one of them new off of thier lot.

hmmmm Someone must have done the head rests then.

Look in the Comp T/A Supplimental Manual, it lists them, but then on the insert that SLP dropped in after they were printed said that they didn't get them and a few other options that were listed in the book that got dropped by production time.

Mine didn't have it, there is a 96 here in town. #80, hers doesn't have it either.

I know both of the previous owners, and I am not positive, but I really don't think either of them are the type to change something, I will get ahold of them and ask.
