well I just took a quick look at the times and from what I see you need to work on launching the car to get a better 60' time. If you can get the 60' time down to about 2.0 that should drastically improve your times. If you get slicks or drag radials those should help out a lot or practice launching ont he street. Also shift around 6k RPM's with that said you should probably get those times down a lot lower.

It's definitely possible that the nerves got the best of you if it was your first time out. My first time out, I ran 14.1 and 14.01 for the first two runs. After I settled into the routine, I instantly ran 13.55 and 13.49 after that. My car had a few mods on it at the time (exhaust, throttle body, maf ends). When you go next time, get at least 4 or 5 runs in back to back and you'll probably see your times come down. From the look of your 60' time, it looks like your launch needs some work (which is my biggest problem too). On street tires, my best 60' time has been around 2.1.

I compared your times to mine ...

Like other said, you need to work on your launch ... I'm stuck in the 2.2 -> 2.3 range but that's good enough to get into the high 13's. Your 60' - 660' feet is pretty much right on, so the power is there, and the 1/4 time seems to confirm that you were hitting 5th.

You'll find that with the 3.42 gears you'll be pretty much right at 6000 rpm in 3rd just before the traps.

Good luck, it's all about PRACTICE, and working on improving YOUR personal best, not racing against others.
