My mind was set on the KBDDSFC's untill recently I saw BMR has some for convertibles for $100 dollars less ! And , in another color besides the yellow . I wanted to powder coat the KB ones (red)but that would be just more money . I could probably get my windows tinted for the money I save . What do you guys think ?

I have them installed in my TA. I noticed an immediate improvement in ridgidity and firmness, and this is on a car that then had 8000 miles on it, so you might notice an even better change. However, the KBDD are supposed to be a lot beefier than the BMR ones, so if you are looking to get the most ridgid vert possible you might want to go that route even though the BMR are cheaper. If I had to do it over again I think I should have gotten the KBDDs. Don't get me wrong, the BMR SFC has been the most noticeable and best mod I've done to my car yet, but over some wierd bumps I can still feel a shimmy and I think the stronger KBDDs might have gotten rid of it. If you are on a budget the BMRs will completely satisfy you. Good luck!

I have them. They're a straight tube with 4 good sized tabs that weld to the floor pan and a bracket that wraps and reinforces the lower control arm mounts.

I don't know how they compare to the KBDD's performance wise, but I do like them.

Brett Rockey manufactures some great pieces for the F-body and is a great guy to deal with.

Just got this update from BMR
quote:
I signed up with a new ISP this weekend and the site was down while my domain name was being transferred. The new company is going through some server issues right now to get rid of the Code Red virus that has been going around but they say it should be resolved by tonight. I appreciate the note, though!

I just ordered a set of BMR SFCs from Performance Parts Outlet. I also ordered the BMR STB at the same time. I got both in silver. He knocked off about $10 off of the normal price that everyone including BMR charges for each one. Cool guy. Can't wait to get them and put them on...
