My girlfriend is looking at a 1995 T/A convertible with 28,000 miles on and with a clean Carfax report for $11,800. We took it for a ride last night and the car is quieter (top up and with the top down) than what I thought it would be and it seems to track straight and brake straight, but I do have one concern. The car seems to be unsure of itself on bumpy roads, almost like a shock is not dampening at the same rate as the rest of them or something. I have never road/drove a f-body convert. so I don't know if this is normal or not. I have read some complaints of other convert. owners and I have heard that they have quite a bit more body flex than what coupes do, but it almost seems like something in the suspension geometry is not quite right.
For all you people that have drove/road in a f-body convertible, did the car act any differently than a coupe?
We are going back tonight to take it out for awhile longer before we make an offer.
Thanks
Paul

You might be feeling the body flex that all ragtops have. A set of SFC's should take care of it.
