I know that mechamperformance.com sells a specific spoiler for the convertible TA, but I've never seen a picture. Does anybody have one they can post or email? Or are there other companies that are making an aftermarket spoiler for the rear deck?

K guy's I got my email mixed up with denis mecham. I have done TONS of research on actually building my own, but the cost is too great. Denis Mecham did send along these pictures. I actually ordered it...I'm not sure if I like it that much but i'm going to take the chance.

Thanks for the links to the picture, Richard. I'll likely end up getting one as well.
Any thought to asking Mecham for a group purchase discount if we can get 5+ guys together? Maybe $50 off or so? I'm sure that would get a few other people interested.

Shoot Dan, I can't believe I forgot about that ARGH, I wonder where my brain goes sometimes...
I'm not sure if Mecham does group purchases...
I have already ordered so if you wanna call them the # is 623-486-3144 and ask for dennis he seems to be a really nice guy. Damn I wonder if they do allow a GP if could still get on it lol

Hummmmmm. Good pics of the Mecham spoiler, but I guess I was expecting something more dramatic. That doesn't look much different from the stock spoiler, just a little exagerated (JMHO). I'd still rather have one that looks like the coupe's spoiler ("up-lifted").

Yeah Johny I agree, wish they had done it right from the factory. I have checked the measurements and mechanics and it would be SUCH a pain in the arse to put that spoiler on. And it would be chopped a bit and not look right. The Mecham is the only hope. It at least rises a little. I'll see how it look's when it get's here Posts: 9 | From: Leonardtown, MD | Registered: Sep 2001

Congrads guys... I've been looking for pics of the Mecham vert-spoiler for over a year. I called twice and was told they'd send em as soon as they could.
Just an FYI, Mecham doesn't make spoilers, they outsource them to another company. Mecham spoilers have great reputations (unlike the hoods they make in house, like the cool lookin 4 louver I wish they would make for the LT1's, but take ~$1000 to $2000 prepping). Wish I knew who made the spoiler for them.
Anyone planning a Mecham GP? Get some pricing an see how many want in!
Maybe it's time for a talk with Wing's West into customizing a spoiler for the 1994-2002 convertibles? ...hey there's almost 18000 V8's alone... I bet there's nearly 40000+ verts when you throw in the V6's.
