Hi, Just enrolled in this wonderful and informative forum. I have a 95 Black Z28 convertible (see sig for mods). I drive about 20-40 miles/week ( depends on the weather). All for fun!!!
My question is; has anyone else used the TPIS strut tower brace. This is the one you can pre-load ( match to individual engine bay). I'm installing this evening. Just curious about anyone else experiences with TPIS or any other STB.

I installed the TPIS (Tuned Port Induction Specialist) STB last evening. It took about 20-30mins. The fit is OEM quality and the pre-loading ability removes a great deal of stress off the two mounting bolts. This is because the brace is straight. Also this brace can be removed without removing the mounting hardware. Top quality materials. The most important factor is that it works!! I was going to buy the BMR STB but a racer removed his TPIS after installing a full race suspension up-grade. At $85 dollars I could not beat the deal ( normally $149).
It's raining this morning so no top down cruising today :-(. There is always tomorrow. Fresh air is the only way to go LT/LS-1 style.
