I have a 95 Z28 Drop top. I want to put the JL Stealthbox in the trunk. However I think that the pump for my convertable top is going to be in the way. Have any of you guys had any expernce with this box? How did you get around this problem? Is it possible to relocate the pump?
Thankx in Advance,

I'm not familiar w/ the JL Stealthbox, but I'm pretty sure SOMEONE makes one that fits around the top-pump-motor. I wouldn't recommend relocating the pump, might be asking for trouble.
Another option for your drop-top is a custom sub-box like mine. Check my homepage for a pic or email me for more detailed info. It works great and leaves all the room in your trunk.

I just finished constructing a Johnny B sub box, it looks super, fits great and leaves me most of the room in the trunk. Two thumbs up
The problem with the stealth boxes is that they typically do not fit in verts, if you modify them they cover up the roof motor aand if you get one for the passenger side - it has to be custom and you loose your spare.
Other options - my $0.02 *tubes in the back seat - ugly, easy to steal, I don't like the sound *custom rear seat box - takes up lots of room, visable and prone to theft, *sealed trunk box - takes up valuable cargo space, sounds way better with the trunk open - but tough to drive that way

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm glad you are pleased with it.
