I was just wondering what some of your cars were running the quater mile in. I just bought a 99 triple white with borla exhaust, lowering kit, 18 inch rims and a K&N filter and I was just trying to get idea of what it is going to run about. I am going to take it cecil county dragway this friday and I just want to have an idea of its time Posts: 7 | From: PA | Registered: Apr 2002

If it's your first time out concentrate on staging, driving and shifting rather than times. My first summer out I ran a best of 14.001 the next summer with minor mod's I dropped over 6/10ths. A lot of that is just getting better at driving.

I checked out the thread from last year, and now I don't feel so bad about posting my times!

I can't answer for sure yet .... but I have a BMR Torque Arm, LG Motorsports PanHard and Control Arms, BMR relocated brackets, and a 1LE tranny mount waiting for installation that I sure hope will cure mine
p.s. I just noticed your car is lowered. From what I've read ... not experienced, you might want to start with control arm relocate brackets.

I hope to know by the end of the day tomorrow on the install
On the control arms, I think type is more important than brand. BMR's site explains it pretty well ...BMR FAQ's ... I went with the LG Motorsports arms because they were the only ones confident that their rod ends would provide acceptable street service. G2 Suspension Components

My daughter ran my Brickyard 400 for it's very 1st time this weekend in the High School National Drags at Milan Dragway and she ran a best of 13.49 @103.16 with a 60' of 2.159. I did not think that was too bad for a stock automatic convertible. The weather was so cold and so was the track. No bite. The 30 mph all day long headwind did not help either. I just ran my best this past Tuesday (5/14). 13.53 @ 104.3mph.
Thats with a stock converter, 2.73's, no weight removal and a full tank of gas, me (200pds), and LT1 Edit tuning I'm still experimenting with. I'm happy
