I need to have part of my drivers seat repaired on the bolster, and would like to know if any of you have any personal experience with any upholstery shops in the area. i've been quoted 250 by one, and that seems outrageous to me, seeing that i can get a whole new interior off a donor car for less. I've read that $40 is about right. i have the 2tone gray interior.

It might be cheaper just to order a new seat cover from GM. I know of one good shop around my house that does alot of custom work for street rods and alot of rare cars but I don't know where you are located at and how far you want to drive..

Check out Rankin Upholstery in Gaithersburg, MD. They've done many repairs and new installs for me. Highly recommended.
