I spent 12 hours or so a week ago cleaning the underbody of the SS to get it ready for a indoor car show. It was driven thru rain for several hundred miles last September for the F-body Gathering in Bowling Green,Ky. Finally got around to the car.I still have cuts healing from the darn heat shields,LOL!

Pure madness. I love it.. but know mine would never look that way. Daily drivers don't have a chance.

Just take the time every now and then to detail your car. The bottom of this car was very dirty and it was like that for 5 months. You don't have to clean the bottom every week, just now and then. [Smile]

Im guilty of detailing my car once a week [Big Grin] It gets washed as much as 3 times a week as well. A black car.. in FL.. and no garage just doesn't cut it. The Vette has riegn of the garage, and the Z is forced to cower under a car port from the Monsoons here in Central Florida. Im sure the neighbors think Im insane for washing it so much but I can't stand to have a white car... when it should be black. My favorite comment from a neighbor, "Dont wash it too much and rub the paint off it!" [Mad] It's okay though. I laugh at their Mustang on a daily basis. It has stylized gold letters on the back window displaying: "La Gringa!". [Big Grin]

I did not paint anything. A 35th Anniversary LE comes from the factory with the black painted front steering knuckles, rear end and black anodized brake calipers. They did a great job on the steering knuckles, but a so so job on the rear differential. [Cool]

I may go over the factory paint job with that POR-15 if rust begins to be an issue. [Smile]
