Mine isn't to exciting, but was something that could only happen to me driving around with the top down. While driving in the summer on the freeway, I passed under a normal bridge where cars were passing overhead. As I left it I felt something splash me in the face, just like water. I thought, hmm what was that, I wiped my face some, and kept driving, then out of nowhere I could smell something familiar, so I looked around and saw a white substance all over my seats. So I pulled over, and found this stuff in my hair all over me, and the car. Well the smell was obvious by this time, and was ranch dressing or something close to it. I assume someone must have thrown their crap out the window over the bridge and onto me as I drove, probably not meaning to hit anyone but to simply get rid of garbage. I have always feared someones cigarette but with ashes coming in my car, or my eyes. It hasn't happened yet, and it better not. Do any of you guys have something even worse than what I went through, that could have been avoided had you owned a convertible.

I did not have anything as bad as you,but did have a bunch of bird droppings on my seats and door panels while my car was at the Tom Henry Camaro Mania Show last year. Glad the top was down...that stuff would have been hard to clean of the black fabric convertible top. [Big Grin]

The funniest that happened to me was when my hat blew off on the interstate... and quicker than I could say anything.. it blew right back in between the front seats. [Smile]

Cruising down PCH in my 91 RS a seagull dropped a bomb. Luckily it hit at the very top of the windshield. [Eek!] Also learned not to sit directly under the telephone wires at intersections. Birds tend to sit on them and well you know.

I guess mine is a bit better than bird dropings or trash in face. Couple of years ago I was going to pass under a walk way enclosed in glass and noticed a very nice looking young laddy sitting on the railing. She was sitting there with the rail closer to the knees than the butt. In other words the butt was hanging loosly. Since I was in traffic I came up real slow and saw it ALL! Look mom no panties. [Big Grin] She was looking down at me as I pased under as I came up an the other side I saw she was on a photo shoot with lights and camaras everywhere. I laughed all the way home. BTW since no trucks are allowed through there she was 10-12 ft away from me so I got a real good look. [Cool]

(Great topic!)

I can't top Zrag's story, but here's what happened with my '67 Camaro convertible.

After a club run, we decided to stop for dinner. Just as we were paying the check, someone came running in and said our cars were getting wet. See, we backed our cars into a row of parking spaces next to a grassy strip. The sprinklers came on while we were eating and they had a full shot into our cars. I had left the top down, so my dash and seats were wet, but thank goodness the seats are vinyl and it was a warm day.
That wasn't so nice for another club member who had a brand new, 4th Gen T-top car (tops off) and cloth seats. He had a wet ride all the way home.

Cruising A1A last summer, I had a random girl in a bikin hop in the back of my car when the top was down. I was rolling along stuck in traffic at about 2 mph, so she just jumped right in. She just wanted to say hi! lol Scared the hell out of me and my friend.
Other story [Mad] I left my top down one night at the bowling alley. When I came out someone had left me a wonderful Hienikin in the back of my car. However, it was full when they threw it into the car.. when it was OPEN. Still never found out who had something against me there. I don't get on anybodys nerves, but they love to vandalize my car there (also had the 'O' fill-in ripped off of my back facia).
