The rear window in my 1994 Z28 convertable is coming off of the fabric. Anyone have ideas of how to fix it? Maybe a glue or something.

Thanks,
Eric

There's a glue used to reglue soles to shoes... Shoe Goo, I think it's called. Personally, I'd go to a reputable top shop in your area and ask their opinion.

Sounds like a trim shop will have to re-sew the glass into the top.

There was a thread on this not to long ago. This is a common problem with this car because the window is glued in and not sewn. An upholstery shop can replace just the panel(w/window) that the window is in. Here in Texas they only last about 5 to 7 yrs. Last year it cost me $419.20 parts and labor.

Good Luck

Just read a thread over on CamaroZ28.com where a gut did repair his back window with black RTV. So I guess it can be done. Says its lasted about 3 month, so far.
