Hey I have been off the air for awhile.I am back and need a little help if I can get it.
Here goes I am meeting my brother from Tulsa in KC to give him a 4 cyl toyota motor from a MR-2 my problem is I will have the motor in the trunk of my old Buick and need to hoist it in to the back of his pick up. Saturday if all goes as planned.Anybody have hoist or cherrypicker that would be able to lift out of mine and put in his.
Or can tell me station or shop with wrecker or hoist that wont rape me to do this simple task. here is pic of buick with motor in the trunk  -

I have had 4 cylinder engines in the trunk of my cars before that were complete.2 or 3 strong guys can lift it out.I have done that many times and even lifted them out of the trunk at a car wash to degrease them before installing the engine. [Smile]

My problem is I am not the biggest 5"10 130 lbs the brothers kid is about the same and I guess grandpa is the one driving up so it will just be the 3 of us.But yea my plan is to hook a comealong to the tie down hook in the bed of the truck and then one rachet and then the other 2 help it alongover a peace of plywood.I was just trying to make it easy.
Cant blame a guy for trying to make it easy [Wink]
