I went to my local chevy dealership to buy new floor mats for my car. Thing is they told me the convertibles take a diffrent floor mat than the hard tops he even showed me on the computer and GM doesn't make them any more for years 93-96 he can't order them either.... Does anybody know wher i can get factory floor mats with the GM emblem on them? Thanks

I know that the vert mats are cut differently than the coupe mats, but I thought any year from '93 to '02 would fit. If you know someone with a '98 - '02 vert, ask to see if they fit your car.

When I ordered my 35th Anniversary LE floor mats from SLP,there was no mention if it was for a convertible or not.I have the original set of Neutral GM floor mats from my old 1999 Z28 coupe and they look the same size as the GM floor mats that came with my 2002 convertible. [Smile]

Interesting... When I purchased a set of SS mats from SLP, they specifically asked if it was for a vert or not, expaining that they were cut differently. When I purchased my second set at the SLP CAD in Orlando, they again needed to know. They compared the coupe mats against the vert mats for my curiousity. The passenger side is cut slightly more narrow where it lays between the "hump" and the raised part of the floor pan's edge (I believe where the frame rail is, but I claim to be no expert). I wonder if the factory mats are one-size-fits-all because they are more flexible than the stiff SLP mats.
