I had mixed results at the track last Wednesday. The car was running great, but running hot. I only got in two runs and didn't stall the converter up. My 60's were terrible, but I managed a 12.5 at 114 and a 12.6 at 115. Should easily break into the 11s at 5800ft. when I get my act together...

I would be happy with those times. When I get the stall speed a bit higher with my bone stock SS, it seems to blow the stock Goodyears right off. I seem to have a better 60' time when the stall speed is around 1,000 rpms. Any higher and it is a smoke show. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

I'm running ET Streets at 17psi and as you can see from the video, they grab pretty well. I did the stupid altitude correction and it drops almost a second off at 5800 ft. So it's already an 11 second car. Of course with the ET calculators, with the horsepower and weight (3910 with me) it should run 10.7 at sea level. Damn.
Anyway, the math says I should be able to get into at least 11.8 on the mountain...
