First, you need to have your pics uploaded to a website that allows hotlinking.
Then insert the URL of the pic between image tags: [img]pic URL goes here[/img]

(see FAQ's).

Or you can use the full reply form below the entry box and use the - button and type the URL into the window that pops up.
