I'm pleased to report that a couple of the vehicles talked about in the
article below were Camaro B4Cs......

GM FCO HONORED FOR ITS ASSISTANCE WITH 9-11 RECOVERY EFFORTS . . . At the
recent National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Conference in
Toronto, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations (FCO) was awarded a plaque by
the New York/New Jersey Port Authority for its assistance in recovery
efforts following the Sept. 11 disaster. The Linden truck plant union and
management workers, plus other fleet business partners, personally
delivered more than 175 vehicles donated or loaned by GM to help with the
relief effort. As part of his remarks on fleet emergency preparedness, Tom
Lubas, manager of the Central Automotive Division of the Port Authority of
New York and New Jersey, commented several times on GM's assistance
immediately following the disaster up to the present. The Port Authority,
which owned the World Trade Center, lost 74 people on Sept. 11 -- more
people than both the fire and police departments. On hand to receive the
award during conference was Dave Hansen, general manager of Fleet and
Commercial Operations. "This was quite an honor to receive this award and
I'm proud of the tremendous effort our team put forth," said Hansen. Also
recognized by Lubas were Tom White and Lee Snyder of Order Management, Jeff
Heichel and Dan Kennedy of Used Vehicle Activities, Bill Gibson from Sales,
Regional General Manager Brent Dewar, Regional Fleet Account Manager Chris
Hoolehan and Fleet Account Executive Mark Leddy.
