Beautiful SS.I've got an "02" SOM SS.I don't think they made an SS in a prettier color.Nice thing is they made way less in SOM than the "35th" anniversary cars,might make them one to hold onto.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes it's the rarest color ever made for an F-Body. In 2001 on 234 SS' were made in Sunset Metallic Orange, not sure how many were made in 2002 though. Posted by THEOS SS (Member # 1484) on :
I just got out my File on my car,the production #'s are for "01" 234 SOM's in a 6 spd. SS,170 auto's,37 convt. 6 spds,44 auto's.For "02" SS 6 spd's in SOM 263,auto's 283,convt. 6 spds 41,convt. auto's 46.Not many when you look at the overall production run.For "01" SOM made up 4.8% of total prod.,"02" SOM made up 4.5% of total prod.
