Basically, you need to have your pics uploaded on the web somewhere and then you reference them by using UBB code. Check out the Instant UBB Code buttons below the window you type a post, next to the Instant Graemlins. Keep asking questions...we'll help ya figure it out.

Put that .jpg URL in between image tags i.e. [img] EnterURLofPicHereWithoutSpaces [/img] and it should appear (unless the site you're using doesn't allow hotlinking).
Or click the button in the Instant UBB Code section of where you're posting/replying and paste the .jpg URL into that.
Remember, you can preview your post, and if it doesn't look right, keep playing w/it until you get it right. When it looks like what you want, go ahead and hit the Add Reply button.
Keep at it....with practice and some playing around with the features of the board, you'll get there.
