They want like 380 bucks to replaced that and the thermostat and labor. is that a decent price? Is this something we should try and have a friend in the local fbody clubs help with or is it too hard to do? BTW its a 1996 SS ... any help would be appreciated Posted by 2002Z4CSS (Member # 1393) on :
I bought a brand new water pump from the Chevy dealer and my cost of the pump with a discount was $260 alone. With labor, that is probably correct. Posted by buddy wagner f99-2340 (Member # 219) on :
that is about right. i spent $280 for the pump for my impala ss. i replaced it twice in 50,000 miles. good luck buddy wagner
