Has anyone had any experience with B&B Auto-Tap? Is it worth the money? Any dificulty using it? Looks like a cool tool but is it really worth it?

I've heard really good things about it, but not having an OBD2 car, I can't personally vouch for it. Some of the guys on www.slpeng.com might have some experience...

I know that if you are gonna be doing mods its almost a must. Its like mission control for the car. Itll let you know every little thing that is going on with your engine while you are driving, racing, idling, or dynoing.

I have it and It is just as worthy as any other mod. It tells you everything you would ever need to know about how the car is running and then some. At the track its almost a must for consistant passes. I swear by it.

Does it allow you to make any changes like the GM Scan tool? Or is it strictly monitoring?

Thanks!

Its strictly monitoring

Yep, its pretty much the standard for monitoring from what I've read/heard.

For programing your PCM (rev-limiters, speed governors, gear ajustments, fan temps, fuel curves, ignition curves, disabling O2 or EGR codes, etc...) you'll need LT1_Edit. or a good tuner.
